Alexandra “Lex” Swaney is a licensed North Carolina Real Estate Broker and serves as Managing Director of Business Development at Moody Group Commercial Real Estate, one of the Carolinas’ most respected real estate firms. Known for its experienced leadership and collaborative approach, Moody Group delivers exceptional results across both commercial and residential real estate throughout the region.
In her role, Lex focuses on cultivating strategic relationships, expanding business opportunities, and connecting clients, investors, developers, and industry partners with the firm’s broad range of real estate services. She is passionate about creating long-term partnerships built on trust, responsiveness, and a deep understanding of each client’s goals. She serves on the leadership team of a construction and real estate network, CCC also known as Contractors, Closers, and Connections as well as being a member of CREW, the Commercial Real Estate Women Network, as well as Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and Peer advisory corporation.
Lex attended the University of South Carolina with degrees in Political Science and Business Administration. Prior to joining Moody Group, Lex helped lead the transformation and successful sale of Charlotte Flooring, a multi-million-dollar commercial flooring company she inherited following the passing of her father. Working alongside turnaround executive Gabriele Carinci, she gained invaluable experience navigating complex business challenges, strengthening operations, and leading through change.
