Finally, I have decided to follow my dream and start the Moody Group, a full service commercial real estate group.  Over four years ago I started Moody Holdings; and, subsequently Moody Development –  to house my development projects.  After years of having my license elsewhere, I have excitedly opened my very own brokerage firm.  After now 12 years in the business, it was time.  I am pretty excited to see my father’s namesake on my brokerage signs and to know the heritage of his entrepreneur spirit is and will be lived out through me. He’s been telling me to do this for about five years so according to him, I’m still behind schedule.   My sister, Lisa Hofe (Century 21 Jacksonville NC) led me to real estate as a residential dynamo herself and I have been here almost as long as I’ve been in my fifteen year marriage to Kurt Ringeling.  Now, both of those are pretty challenging and rewarding accomplishments!  I have two 13 year old children, Luke and Lindsey and two spoiled dogs, Cam and Sophie!  I have sure been given a lot of support and patience and understanding through this transition and I am grateful to be here closer to the fun part of the brokerage journey..getting to work on the deals and realizing everyone’s progress with them!

What I learned from a very young age, as I scribbled on my dad’s files while watching him interact with customers and staff in his office – he always waved at everyone and smiled and talked to everyone – is the very essence of my current client relationships. His customers usually ended up as regulars and those along with his other associates would be close friends over the years… through the lean and also through the mean times. In putting his clients first and caring about each of them, he automatically grew his business and created a circle of faithful loyal clients and they always depended on one another!   Along with good business, I learned that integrity, kindness,  positive outlook (walking in faith), a little give and take, patience and perseverance were standard practices to any good relationships and long-term is the way to think.  Man, I am a lucky girl for that kind of first-hand education. I think, actually I sure hope, I have taken good notes along the way and have crafted the best of the companies and great people I have worked with and for and turned them into Moody Group.  This group of brokers and associates have accomplished many things independent of our group and I personally bring a lot of experience and knowledge with me being in the industry for over a decade.  Together, though, the people I always call on and count on, from the lender to the closing attorney and GC, to the clients who continue to use my services, these are who will make Moody Group great. I am grateful for the guiding hands of experienced mentors with whom  I have worked with over the years. Some of these trusted allies join or support me to offer full circle customer service with Moody Group Commercial Real Estate.  We have listed 67,000 sf occupied industrial multi-tenant buildings in Raleigh, brokered land deals in Charleston, SC, and brokered office condominiums in Concord, NC. We also planned new developments in Rock Hill, SC and Waxhaw, NC. We developed retail in Indian Land, SC. We have expanded and balanced long-term lease investment portfolios for Charlotte investors.  We currently list one of the largest tracts I’ve worked on to date with Kim Lineberger at LCI- a 100 acre, rail-lined industrial park in Lancaster, SC.
